About the teacher

I am so excited to be beginning my second official year as a teacher and my second year at KSA!

I grew up in South Jersey (near the beach) where I attended our local Jewish Day School. My 12 years there brought me closer to my Judaism and I still have fond memories from my days there. After I graduated high school I went to American University in Washington, DC where I earned a BA in psychology.

After college, I moved to Boston to attend Wheelock college. There, I earned a dual Masters and teaching certification in Elementary and Special Education. During my time at Wheelock I interned and taught first grade in the Brookline Public Schools.

I thought 1st grade was the grade for me, but my year in 3rd grade here at KSA last year has made me 100% sure that third grade is where I am meant to be! Third graders have a innocent maturity, yet they still want and need their teacher to be there for them!

When I'm not teaching or planning, I love to snowboard (snowy winters permitting), work on my photography, cook, and hang out with my friends. I am also strongly connected to two minyanim in the Brookline area.

I am also a very proud aunt to two adorable nephews, Noam and Ronan, and every spare moment I have, I fly out to Oregon to spend time with them!
